Comfy cocoa

Hello everyone!! Hope your week has started well.
I am  sharing a card today that I made using a Sami Stamps digital image that I won recently.

I coloured her with Promarkers using two colours only to tone with the paper. The die cuts were the result of a rummage in my bits and pieces box and happily go very well I think!! There is a pearl in the centre of the rolled flower (I am so rubbish at these...any tips greatly received!!) and a pretty ribbon and double bow to finish off. I resisted the temptation to add a sentiment just yet but will do so at a later date.

Some challenges

I Love Promarkers #273 - Anything Goes
Paperbabe #14 - Anything Goes
Creative Fingers  #83 - Anything Goes
Creatalicious #76 - Ribbons & Pearls
Crafty Time #2 - Girls, girls, girls
Crafting Musketeers #26 - Shades of summer (Sand and Sea)
Little Claire Digi Challenge #6 - Ribbon and/or twine
Di's digis - Use die cuts

Thanks for coming to see me today and thank you for your kind words xx

Love, love, love it.
The image is beautiful, great colours and design.
A great "box" card to have the sentiment added when needed.

Such a soft elegant card Sarah.
I tend to soften the card with a bone folder tool before I have a go at curling those roses up. It also allows you to shape the petals a little! x

Oh this is lovely Sarah. The die-cuts are gorgeous. Im rubbish at rolled flowers, that's why I buy mine lol. Yours looks nice though, so not to worry. I love this card - Michelle x

Sarah, this is a really stylish card. I love the colours you have chosen and using two looks totally elegant. Now, I love rolled roses but I am no expert! I did find that my technique improved a bit when someone showed me how to roll them using a pair tweezers to hold the centre - that also makes it easier to glue the bottom down without getting third degree burns from the glue gun! Hope that helps...but to be honest, your rose looks lovely anyway! A perfect embellishment for a very pretty card.

Love the soft colours, this is lovely Sarah... I'm quite rubbish at rolled flowers myself so no fabulous tips, although I do find starting them off by holding the end with tweezers and doing the first few rolls around the tweezer ends helps a bit. Hugs, Lisa x
