A butterfly Twofer!!

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. It's been ages hasn't it?!! We have been enjoying such good weather here in the UK that my mojo has packed up and gone on holiday!!

However, every month since Darnell launched her " Twofer" challenge I have had good intentions to join in and...you know what it's like...for one reason or other I never managed it. However I am here to rectify that with these...

Now, I rarely use butterflies and knew I didn't have any stamps but the little die was free with a magazine so I used it in two ways, to make a feature and as a finishing touch. Not my usual style, I know, but I thoroughly enjoyed letting loose and trying something new!!

Thank you Darnell for the inspiration!!

I won't be away so long next time...see you Thursday!!

Hello Sarah... the weather is gorgeous so I might join your mojo :) Your twofer cards are really pretty, I like the rainbow of butterflies in the circle and just using the butterfly as a finishing touch on your first card is spot on x

Such sweet cards Sarah! Its hard when your mojo goes but hopefully it will return soon. Enjoy the sunshine. I can't believe the difference a couple of days has made to the garden. Flowers in bloom everywhere!

Two very different but equally fabulous cards! Such lovely card designs, the rainbow of butterflies is so sweet but my favourite is the embossed card as I love the colour combination, the black makes everything pop, and the wet and dry embossing. Well done meeting your challenge of the twofer :). Debra x

Using that sweet butterfly as an accent works so well on your pretty, textured, monochrome blue card, Sarah ... and the rainbow wreath is fabulous ... fresh, vibrant and playful! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)

Always love a Butterfly or two Sara, both so pretty.

Meant to pop over after your comment (thank you) the other day but my time seems to be evaporating this week and not put a single thing in a case yet. You mentioned the cuckoo, well our first 'hearing' this year was on 20th April, a whole week earlier than last year and significantly earlier than the previous year. Yep, hubby keeps a note of all these things.

As for a two year old, well we actually bought a yearling for about that figure, pretty little lad, a Section 4 and should make about 15.2 ish, but looking at his fine shiny coat and movements he could easily have some Arab in there and has all the makings of a dressage horse. Next comes 'the cut' and then we'll start work proper.

See you after our hols, assuming I get my act together and make the plane. Taken so much preparation to get everything sorted for one of the boys and DIL who are coming to look after the menagerie.

So glad you stretched your creativity into the realm of butterflies for the Twofer! Those free dies come in handy sometimes! I love the black accents against the beautiful aqua on your first card, and your rainbow of butterflies is so cheerful and fun on your thank you card. Thanks for joining us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

I'm so glad your mojo came back so you could join in, Sarah, and it came back with a roar with these two pretty designs! I love your friendship tag card colors and texture and your sweet butterfly is in the perfect spot! I also love your clever rainbow-colored wreath of butterflies! Very well-thought designs!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #5! Hugs, Darnell
