Not a card at AYLI

Thank you for joining me today, I hope you are having a good week.

I have some embroidery to share with you this time. We would love to see your non card projects at

As You Like It Challenge.

It is six years since this challenge launched and I am proud to say that I have been with this wonderful team, pretty much, since the start. It was my very first DT and I was so excited when Samantha and Annette picked me to join the team. You can take a look at my first DT piece here.

To celebrate the event we are having an Anniversary Blog Hop, for which there is an additional prize for one lovely visitor. Full details are here

Last year I subscribed to some seasonal kits from Craftpod as I felt my creative mojo needed a bit of a boot up the backside!! I devoured the first kit in no time at all but what with one thing or another the Spring 2018 kit was put away and forgotten about. So, in preparation for this DT piece I dusted it off and did this...

Everything (even needles, silk skeins, pins etc) is included in these letterbox sized boxes, for several projects, and they usually contain a tasty teabag and sometimes a sweet treat too!!

I really hope that you will find time to make something and join us this fortnight and to participate in our celebration.

See you soon xx

Love your embroidery Sarah. I love a bit of needlecraft and have a box full of finished projects that really need to be on the wall. I used to do it sat in the caravan whilst Al did the barn conversion. :)

I am so behind={...but, I absolutely had to pop by and tell you how much I adore this project. Needlework is another addiction of mine, but I find little time to do it. This is so lovely, reminds me of a modern day sampler. Wonderful piece, Sarah!
