Love to Bake

Hello friends. I hope the week has been kind to you and that you are all well.

I have a really sweet image from All Dressed Up called Love to Bake

She's a reall sweetie and was a joy to colour to compliment another of my pretty Julie Loves Kits.

I found the meshy stuff in my stash and even added some sequins that matched too. I hope I have inspired you to join us at

it's always Anything Goes just as long as your card is hand coloured.

While on the subject of baking have a look at these...

...I had marzipan left from my Christmas cake so, as you do, I asked the lovely lady in my telephone what to do with left over marzipan and she gave me this recipe. Honestly I am not a big fan of marzipan but they are delicious and I have made several different versions depending on what dried fruit I have in the cupboard. Our favourite batch contained a tub of glace cherries!!

Enjoy!!

See you soon xx

Such pretty soft colours along with the cute image Sarah. Hubby would love your buns, he's a real fan of marzipan and he got his jab this morning, not quite sure how but means in theory they have reached the vulnerable's.

A gorgeous card Sarah, love the image - she looks fab. Those buns look amazing. I arrived home from work on Wednesday to find Emma had baked a huge cookie. 2 bars of melted chocolate on the inside and melted marshmallow on top! Full of sugar but very tasty!!

Your card is lovely. So happy and cheerful. Baking always makes me happy. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe. I'm married to a Dutchman, so I always have marzipan around the house :-) Will post a pic of them to show you when I make some and I would like to invite you to come have one with me. Wouldn't that be fun?
Stay well, my friend.
Hugs,
Lena
