The Boys are back in town

Hello friends. I seem to be on a run of good luck at the moment in finding stuff that I wasn't actually looking for!! Anyone remember the Daisy and Dandelion products from about ten years ago!? Well I found some sheets of pyramage and just had to use them as my DT piece for the new challenge at

where the theme is The Boys are back in town.

Just look at little Dandelion taking it easy by the river bank!!

And here is a better look at the layers.

The paper (I suspect is MFT) and mat were in my box of scraps (which incidentally, I am intending to actually use this year!!) and matched the topper perfectly. All that I needed to finish off was some co-ordinating bakers twine for the tag, which was also on the sheet.

I am now ready for my Brother-in-Laws Birthday next week!!

I hope you are all doing okay and crafting to keep your minds off the scary times that we find ourselves  living in. I have to admit that I am more afraid now than I was at the start. I know that technologies record every single event now which means we are all in the know on a daily basis. On a positive note, I was proud to be a part of the very first Covid Vaccination Clinic for our Primary Care Network last week and admit to feeling very emotional about being involved in such a historic event. We are expecting to vaccinate 1000 patients every week for the forseeable, so it may be a little quiet here!!

That's all for today. See you later in the week xx

Well done using up those pyramage sheets you found, I found a half finished cross-stitch of my late Mum's in a box when I was tidying up over the holidays. I am now trying to finish it off but its not easy finding your way around someone else's work. Still I'm not going anywhere at the moment!
I remember Daisy and Dandelion and probably have a stamp set somewhere! Great use of all your snippets too, many of mine ended up on the back of the Esse as I know I wont use them! Keep safe out there and congrats on keeping going and making us safer. Hugs. xx

A lovely cute card Sarah and I must admit I haven't seen these images before. I agree with you about it being more scary this time round as it hardly seemed to touch our area first time, but now we know quite a few people who have been affected. Keep up the good work with the vaccinations, we all need them xx

That's a fab card Sarah and I love the orange and blue together, it looks so fresh and clean. Well done on being part of the Covid Vaccine trial. The sooner this thing is sorted the better but until then, take care and stay safe x

A super card Sarah, a real blast from the past - I think I have some Daisy and Dandelion decoupage in the depths of my stash somewhere!
It certainly is a bit scary at the moment, we are lucky to be able to stay at home with my youngest son (he is working from home) - my eldest is a teacher so is working from home one week and in school the next, not so good for him.
You should be very proud of the work you are doing,I hope you got the vaccine as well as giving it.
Take care.

I agree Sarah, I'm more scared now than I was at the start. Have only been out the house once since last March, thankfully we have a huge garden so I can take exercise there. Your card is lovely, I do remember those characters and probably still have some lurking somewhere. The colours are gorgeous.....just shows it's always good to save scraps lol. Hope the New Year has gotten off to a good start for you & yours......take care xx

Hi Sarah, a super card for your brother-in-law's birthday, love the little fish you have added to the card. I'm trying to use up a falling to bits/ much loved/ almost gone paper pad to make some Christmas cards, so far I've used the strips left over to cover two card fronts with stripes. I hope you are one of the ones getting the injection if you are coming into contact with so many people. Stay safe... Megan

Hi Sarah

A great card for your Brother in Law .. .. love all the dimension.

I can imagine working in the Vaccination Clinic felt amazing. It must make you feel so proud. Well done and thank you! Let's hope the vaccines are going to make a huge impact on 2021 and we can kick the virus into touch.

I took Mum for her first one on Christmas Eve and she should have had her second one on Thursday but sadly it got cancelled.

Love Jules xx
