Treats for the reindeer!!

Hello everyone. it's been a while hasn't it!? I hope you all had a peaceful Christmas and I am sincerely Wishing you good health and brighter days ahead in 2021!! After a personally difficult  last year I was pretty optimistic about the New Year...what a start though!!

I haven't had chance to do very much crafting over the festive period but at the weekend had a little mooch to see what inspired me and am taking these bags of reindeer food along to a couple of Christmas challenges!!

I made some of these a few years ago and actually mislaid the stamp set. I was delighted to rediscover it while I was looking through my fabric!! It is a set from Alley Way Stamps and I can't even remember where I bought them from. I have a sneaking suspicion it may have been from Kitty at My Mum's Craft Shop, remember that?!

The deer were stamped and coloured with Promarkers and I added Tonic glitter drops for the noses. The verse is part of the set that was stamped on to Daisy Mae Designs Arch Dies that made perfect tags. Of course it's not real reindeer food, it's bird seed but the littleys didn't know that!!

So, that's me for today. I have several DT pieces in the pipe line but as we are now rolling out the Covid vaccine, I suspect my working life may just become a little more manic and that I shall disappear once more!!

Until next time, take care of yourselves xx

These are really cute Sarah, my daughter's MiL sent some for the Grandkids to put out for Rudolf and the guys this Christmas. Seb at three was amazed that the food had disappeared in the morning but so was the 10yr old!!!
Hope you have a better year, we are safe and healthy so far. Bet you will be busy soon with all the vaccinations? :)

Oh, your little reindeer tags are adorable Sarah, glad you found your stamp set, don't things get into unusual places and get lost, I have been astounded where I found some of my bits, like tiny dies, stuck to the bottom of my glue bottle, must have been there for at least 3 months..lol..FOUND IT!..

These are so much fun. I used to make these when my kids were little. I used to add a spoonful of red glitter "to make sure the reindeer didn't miss it". Yup we had to do everything possible to make sure Santa saw our house :-) Good old days that I miss. Thanks for taking me back in time with your lovely reindeer food creations.
Enjoy your week ahead, and keep safe and well.
