With Love at christmas

Have been a busy girl with work and the build up to Christmas for the past few weeks so have been neglecting my card making. However grabbed myself half an hour of "me" time to make a card for the Joanna Sheen Challenge "With Love at Christmas"

The image is from Lili of the Valley, which I coloured with Promarkers, and the papers are from Nitwit collection Patchwork Christmas ( I have used this a lot and will continue to do so well into 2013!!). I added the silver bells to echo the die cut behind the greeting. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

A Grown up Christmas

I think I  have made enough cute cards for the moment so have decided to go a bit more traditional for the Mother-in Law(!!) and enter it in the Natalie and Amy's Challenge

I downloaded the chapel from Just inklined and coloured it with Promarkers. I love that with downloads you can size them according to the dimensions of the card (I used an 8X8). I embossed some pearl card with a snowflake pattern and cut it into three to sit behind the image, as I wanted the look to be serene, and then mounted them on silver mirror board. The die-cut flowers were from my stash and I inked the petals and added some Star Dust Stickles to get the look I was after.

Oops! The card is square - honest! Just shows how bad my photography is!!

Thanks for looking.

Winter Friends

This is a stamped "Humphrey" image that I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens to match the backing paper. Not typically Christmas colours but nonetheless I was thrilled with the result.
I just love that he's giving his favourite friend a ride on the reindeer. Soooo Cute.

Anyway this is for the Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge - hope you like him and thanks for taking a look.
