Happy Monday crafters.  Hope you all had a good weekend. It was Hubby's weekend off so we had plenty of lovely dog walks, a trip to the local town for a bit of retail therapy and a bite to eat and I even managed a bit of crafty time. 

Anyway, it's my turn to share another sample of the lovely artwork from

She is called You put a spell on me

She was coloured with Promarkers to match the pretty papers and had a liberal squirt of stickles!!
I was very tempted to carry on with the shabby chic but held back as I didn't want to cover more of the paper than I had to. I did, however ink the edges for an aged look.

Daisy, Daisy....

Morning crafters. I hope you are well today. I have my DT card for

The new challenge is for you to share a project showing your favourite flower.

My paternal Grandmother "Nanny" was called Daisy so I have always found myself drawn to daisies, and, as it says in the film You've Got Mail,  they are "such friendly flowers".

It was the perfect opportunity to use a NBUS stamp, Delightful Daisies, that happened to fall in my basket when LOTV had a bit of a promotion. The image was coloured with Promarkers and the daisies had a slathering of Sparkle pen, which, as you already know, does not show up in photographs. Speaking of which I had to use my phone to take this one so it's pants anyway!!

The papers were from a magazine freebie and my Marianne Daisy die got an airing for the finishing touches. I have yet to add a message as this sweet card will actually serve very well for a number of occasions.

White Christmas

Hello crafters. Time for challenge #2 at

We would love to see your cute Christmas cards featuring a song or carol.

I may have mentioned before that I watch White Christmas (and sing the title song!!) all the time so it was an easy choice for me. I used an image from one of the sponsors (full details here).

The pretty paper was free with a magazine and I cut a silver mat using a new die set from Swedish House Crafts.

Thank you ever so much for your kind messages about our promotion!! Mollie Rose continues to grow more beautiful every day and I have taken to being Grandma very well, although I am  not so keen on sharing the bed with a Grandad!!

This is Painter Shy. 

I knew he would look amazing with bright primary colours so dug out a Doodlebug Designs pad and coordinating enamel dots. Black mats were the perfect addition. He was coloured with Promarkers.

Now then, while I am here I had better share my news...we have been upgraded to GRANDPARENTS and my secret wish (for a baby Grand Daughter) came true!!

She arrived safely on Sunday evening and is absolutely gorgeous although names are still proving difficult for Mummy and Daddy to choose!! Mollie Rose is the favourite at the moment!!

I used Sewing Avery from our sponsor Paper Nest Dolls. She was coloured with Promarkers using Sandstone, Caramel, Cocoa and  Umber for her hair. These are my "go to" colours as I always get good results, although hair is something that I still struggle with!!

The papers were free with a magazine some time ago so it was time they got used!!

Better head off to work, typical that we have snow heading our way today and I won't get to enjoy it with the hairy kids...never mind.

Nothing like a hot chocolate with marshmallows to warm you up...as you can see I didn't add cream though...I am trying to be good!! I am here to share my first 2017 DT inspiration post for 

It's time for another new release and I chose to use this little darling

I teamed her with some pretty Marianne Designs papers and kept the layout relatively simple in order to let the sweet hippo take centre stage.

2017 is going to be very exciting for us...Our eldest Son and his Girlfriend are promoting us to Grandparents in a few weeks so this card may be a very useful addition to my stock pile!!
