Hello bloggers. 

Coffee Anyone? I found this little fella in the middle of my digi pile and he called out to be coloured and made into a card.

Here is the inside, that I hope will qualify for the current Allsorts challenge, Friends.

I am really enjoying making tent cards at the moment, mainly because I found many, many C6 envelopes!! It's perfect actually because the new challenge at As You Like It is

Well, the retail therapy went well. The reason for the visit was to find something a bit out of the ordinary for my Mum's Birthday which was the first task we achieved. We also came home with Lindt chocolates, Molton Brown body wash, a rather nice new handbag and jumper for me!! Success!! 

If the weather men are to be believed, it will be snowing while this post goes live and I will be at work wishing I was at home!! Stay safe if it is snowing where you are in the UK.

Happy Winter

I had to buy some Christmas cards last year as I hadn't made enough. Admittedly they were horsey ones for my livery guests and for a good cause ( Bob champion Trust), but I am determined to make a huge effort to make all my cards this year. 

Here goes...

I bought this stamp set with some Christmas money as I think she will make a lovely winter Birthday card, as well as Christmas. I am really pleased with the rainbow coloured scarf and resisted the temptation to add anything else.

I hope you have something nice planned for the weekend. We are planning a trip to Clarks Outlet Village today for a bit of retail therapy!! Wish me luck!!

Heart Balloon Girl

Hello friends, yet another week has whooshed by without me having anything to show but I am here to redress the balance.

I am now a member of  Colour Crazy Craft Challenge Design Team A and am here to share my first "official" offering for this weeks' challenge. They are always Anything Goes and the only rule, really, is that you share a hand coloured image...simples!!

Anyway, enough blathering from me and on to the task in hand.

My little card showcases an image from our sponsor, Lemon Shortbread. She was coloured with Promarkers to compliment the Sweet Nothings paper pad ( thank you Annette). I was having one of those bad hair (colouring) days, this was my third attempt so left it at that!! The sentiment on the little banner is from a LOTV set, which worked really well.

Buttons or pearls at AYLI

Hello my crafty friends. I am here to share a very special card today. It is the one I made to give to Mollie on Tuesday when we celebrated her 2nd Birthday...yes, she is two, hard to believe, but true!!  It is also my DT inspiration for the  new challenge at...

...where the theme, this time, is buttons or pearls.

This is what I made

The sweet bear is from a Polkadoodles bundle that came with stamps, dies, paper pads and felt...bargain!! I used Crafters Companion dies for her name and the balloon was a magazine freebie, as was the 2. I added some pearls as a simple finishing touch, they add a nice bit of balance when put in each corner I think.

Hello peeps, hope this finds you well and settling in to 2019. I keep writing 2018 at work which isn't particularly helpful on patients' appointment cards!! I am hoping to crack it by the end of January!!

Anyway, I am here today with a bit of DT inspiration for 

where we are welcoming the new year with a Clean and Simple Challenge...remember to make it as cute as can be though.

It's a "Just for fun" so I raided my stash and did this

The bees and their little hive are in a MFT set Meant to Bee and I coloured them with Promarkers.

I added a little sparkle to their wings for a bit of glamour!!

Welcome

Hello crafty friends, hope last week was a good one for you. Everything has fallen back into routine here...except for the rubbish men!! I even managed some crafty time, so that can't be bad. 

One of my horsey pals has just become a Grandma again so I made this card for her new Grandson, Albert. 

Please forgive the dull photograph, the weather has not been kind to the camera and my daylight lamp has gone missing (in the attic I suspect with the Christmas trimmings...ooops!!). 

I stippled the grass and sky with an old stencil brush that I found and it looks so much better in the flesh, so to speak...I hope you get the gist!! The sweet bunny and lamb were coloured with Promarkers and the pretty plaid paper is from  MFT .

Anything Goes at AYLI

Well, here we are, a new year, 362 days of promise ahead of us and whatever your hopes and dreams for 2019 I hope they are fulfilled for you and your loved ones.

Right, on to business. I am still in Christmas mode and as the first challenge of the year at

 is Anything Goes it fits right in.

I used my cute Gerda Steiner reindeer again, coloured softly with my Promarkers. More papers that fell into my basket in The Range were used for the base. 

That is all for today folks. I hope life is getting back to normal for you after the festivities. My home is looking mighty bare but it was nice to get tidied up again. Still, time flies and before we know it Christmas will have rolled around again!!
