Favourite Medium

A nice easy theme for you at AS YOU LIKE IT CHALLENGE this time.

Favourite Colouring Medium.

It will come as no surprise that mine is Promarkers. Over the years I have tried other alcohol markers and pencils, yet always reach for my Promarkers when colouring an image. I am familiar with the colours that blend and find doing so is really easy. So this is what I made.

It's Mothering Sunday in the UK this weekend so I thought this Imagination Crafts stamp with it's lovely tulips and springtime text would be perfect. The whole image was washed  with Spectrum Noir Sparkle, which is a little easier to see in the next picture.

Thank you for calling in today, it's always a delight to read your comments.

See you soon xx

White on White

Hello friends and visitors, I hope you had a good weekend. We had two lovely days so I managed to do a bit of weeding and mowed the lawn too, so we look neat and tidy again!!

It's time for me to share a little bit of Christmas today in the shape of my card for

This time it's a White on White theme and I don't mind admitting it filled me with horror until I remembered my lovely Winter Wishes die set.
I stacked up the layers with glue gel and set the scene for the sweet snowman....ta dah!!

The little snowy was coloured with Promarkers and I used Nuvo Sparkle on him and each of the white layers. Realistically, my panic was unfounded and I am really pleased with my finished card.

We would love you to join us and if you need some inspiration take a look at my team mates lovely work, on show here.

See you later in the week xx

Gigi

Yay it's Friday. I am looking forward to the weekend and hope you are too.
Before that though I have a card to share, it's my DT inspiration for
Colour Crazy Craft Challenge where it's always Anything Goes
but you must shared a coloured image. Here is my card using an image from our sponsor

Moonflower Digi Stamps

She is called Gigi Flap Dancer, coloured with Promarkers. I teamed her with some some  parisian style papers that I bought from The Range a while ago.

OOps, I have just noticed the back of a foam pad in the photograph...too late now though!!

Well, that's all for today. Have a good weekend xx

AYLI - dies or Stencils?

An easy peasy challenge for you at

We would love to see your projects with either dies or stencils...you know you have one or other in your stash that you could use!! Remember to tell us why you have made your choice though.

It's dies for me, all day long. I have so many, old favourites and new ones (that I just had to have!!) that have never been opened!! Sound familiar? There are so many available from basic shapes, like I have used here for matting, to hugely intricate panels and sentiments to add interest to cards and other paper or mixed media projects.

I have used here a LOTV rubber stamp, coloured with Promarkers, and Snow Princess paper (also LOTV now retired but available here in digital form).  My Dies are mainly from Tonic and the circular sentiment was a freebie that came with a magazine.

I look forward to seeing what you share with us.

That is me for now...see you when I do xx

Beary Cute indeed!!

Hello my crafty friends. I hope you had a lovely weekend, despite the ferocious weather, and are refreshed and ready to take this week in hand and make it a good one!!

I am kicking mine off with a DT piece for

where the challenge theme is BEARY CUTE so we would like you to raid your stash and share a card featuring a bear or two!!

Here is mine, using an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments

I have made an anniversary card for a change. The pretty papers are from a Craftwork Cards pad.

I hope that you will take some inspiration from my little card and dust off your bear stamps, decoupage or, perhaps, toppers and join us!!

I have had a busy couple of weeks work wise so my crafty time has been in short supply. My accident prone Husband had another trip to A&E last week following another head injury at work. I am considering buying him one of those blow up sumo wrestler suits for added protection!!

See you later in the week xx

Santa stop here!!

Hello friends. Hope you are well today.

I am still on a mission to keep adding to my Christmas card box and today have an old favourite to share.

It's the lovely James who is still available here. I also used an old LOTV paper pad teamed with red cardstock and a die cut poinsettia to finish it off. I coloured him with Lyra pencils for a change.

Not much happening here today the forecast is horrid. We got extremely wet mucking out and walking this morning so I fully intend to stay dry for a few hours at least!! Whatever you are up to I hope you have a good day xx
