Cool or Warm

Happy Thursday everyone...nearly the weekend again!! Before that though it is the start of a new challenge at

so I am here to encourage you to pay a visit!! We are all about colour this time and are asking why you favour cool or warm colours.

I am a warm sort of girl and use the kinds of colours that I have hanging in my wardrobe. In this case I have used a lovely warm ruby red and pink but have used a little bit of cool blue for the little guy and to tone with the light blue in the paper.

Our sponsor is LOTV so I just had to take advantage of the reduced price and get a couple of their new LOVE designs!!. Coloured with Promarkers to compliment the papers that came from Lidl. I have also been a bit naughty and bought a set of notched corner dies...ooops!!

My back is now much better and I am back in the saddle

I think my face says it all!! Wills was not so impressed!!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will join in at AYLI xx

Awesome!!

Hello all, I hope this week is being kind to you!! Well, we have had a right old jumble of weather this past week. Gales and floods = muddy dogs and horses, followed by sub zero temperatures and ice = frozen tails!! Added to that I managed to hurt my back lifting a bag of horse food which meant a day off work, which is positively unheard of!! All better now. Thankfully it was muscular rather than disc in nature. I don't do idle so it was an interesting week or so.

Anyway, I have found myself with a few minutes to spare so am here to share a card that I made for a tweenager.

I sort of had the film "Up" in mind so the balloons are soaring up, up and away, with the message dangling beneath. The ballons were made using a free die that came with a magazine years ago. The sentiment was heat embossed for added texture and clear definition.

Thank you for stopping by, it is always nice to see you xx

Anything Goes at AYLI

Hello again. I have a box card to share to, hopefully, inspire you to join our

ANYTHING GOES at

This card took quite a while to put together. I found the road signs on the "net" and then  resized them to fit the circle punch that I had in my stash and to fit the panels on the box sides and flaps.

I used an LOTV digi sentiment on the back with space for a message.

I am pleased to report that Eloise loved it!!

So, that is it for this week. Have a good weekend xx

Clean and Simple

Hello all, hope you are getting into the swing of 2020. I don't mind admitting that I have written 2019 on one or two appointment cards during the past week, never mind I'll get there!!

So today I have a cutie for you. We are going all Clean and Simple at

I went for a DL card for a change. Looking for a 6x6 card blank I came across a pack of mixed coloured DL that were given to me by a friend. I chose the lovely turquoise and the combo developed from there.

I coloured the sponsor's image with Promarkers and added some Star Dust Stickles to the peachy coloured hearts. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted, where I was lucky enough to have won a crafty spend just before Christmas.

Here's hoping this week will be good to you. See you again soon.

Thank you for taking the time to pay a visit, it is much appreciated xx

As always I am using an image from our sponsor, an unknown one to me

Digi Doodle Studios

this happy character is Penelope Party Girl and she was coloured with Promarkers.

We have a DT call open at the moment, details are on the main challenge blog here if you are interested!!

I hope everyone is getting back to normality after the Christmas and New Year festivities. I am finally remembering the days of the week!!

Happy New Year and Thank You!!

Hello everyone and a great big

Happy New Year!!

I hope 2020 brings health, wealth and happiness to you all.

My card today is some inspiration for the new challenge at

We have made Thank You cards.

I have been busy with needle and aida since Boxing Day and made this...

it was a free pattern from the amazingly talented Durene Jones that I adapted to suit my own thread stash and time constraints!! The stitched panel is just short of four inches, so I made a whopping eight inch card with a small silver inner frame and a lavender pearl board embossed mat. Nothing more needed.

So, that is my crafty year started off nicely and I hope you will have time to join in.

See you soon xx
