SMILE!!!!

I make no apology for being weak...I just cannot help myself, it is such a burden!!! I see an amazing card and find myself in Detective mode trying to locate a certain stamp, die, paper pad and so on!! Case in point is the stamp I am using today. I had spotted it while browsing at DTDF and I resisted (yes, really!!) for soooooo long until I spied it showcased, brilliantly, here and I caved. So a mahoosive thank you Claire for making me realise that life would be a little bit better with this cheeky monkey in it!!

This is what I did with him...

...a miracle really because, even though I am finding time to craft, the inspiration just will not come at the moment. Still, my Marianne Designs photo die came in very handy to frame the stamped image that I coloured with Flex Markers. The SMILE was heat embossed onto some very old Bo Bunny spotted paper.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you are all coping with the current situation and that you and your loved ones are keeping well.

See you soon xx

Little Cuties

The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog

Hello and a Happy Weekend to you all.

The lovely "Boss Lady" Lisa wanted to share some joy and positivity during these troubling times so today we are launching a challenge for your "Little Cuties" (16 years and under) who might like to make a cute, cute, cute card for Mum and/or Dad, a Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle or to lift the spirits of an Elderly Neighbour perhaps. If they do then we would LOVE to see it here where you will find all the details.

Looking forward to seeing you share your stash !!

Buttons or Pearls

Happy Thursday everyone. I hope that amid these scary times that you are finding enjoyment in your crafting and, where possible, enjoying the sun for a little while at least. Being fairly isolated, as we are, the animals still need tending so it is pretty much business as usual. I am still at work at the local surgery but have made the decision not to ride away from home.

Anyway, I have a sunny little James to share today to inspire you to join us at

A simple theme this time...Buttons or Pearls. I had a tricky decision really as I have many colours of both but went with buttons as centres of the flowers.

He was coloured with Promarkers and actually looks a little washed out, shouldn't complain though as it was the first time in months that I was able to take a photograph outside!!

Stay safe and keep well everyone xx

Little Red Wagon #542- Use your Leftovers
( used the previously coloured James image and a scrap of pink for the flowers)

White Christmas

Hello my lovely friends and visitors. I really hope that you are all safe and well today and continue to be so in the ever changing times we are currently facing.

Let's not think about that for a minute and let me spread a bit of Christmas cheer!!

The theme is White Christmas

I went a bit CAS with my card. I used a pre-coloured image from Winnie Christmas Wishes...Helping Hands simply added some dotty ribbon and a Phill Martin sentiment.

That's it from me for today.

Thank you for calling in today, your time and comments are much appreciated.

See you soon xx

Time For You

Hello friends. I recently took advantage of the reduced prices at Lily of the Valley and grabbed myself several of the new designs...as you do!! She is called Time for You and I really enjoyed colouring her with my Promarkers.

The beautiful papers were part of a Birthday gift from a special blogging buddy and the digi was coloured to match.

I hope you are all safe and well, wherever you are in the world, during these worrying times. There is comfort in the fact that here in Blogland we are still able to enjoy each others company safely, while getting inspiration to fuel our crafty minds should we need to self isolate.

On a brighter note, we saw a glimpse of spring at the weekend.   I found a solitary bluebell hidden in our hedge and the primroses are in abundance down the lane.

It is starting to dry out underfoot so we were able to start tackling the garden...the dogs helped by digging....my daffodils!!

Stay safe everyone xx

Easter Bunny

Welcome, welcome!!

Spring has arrived at As You Like It Challenge this time and we are loooking forward to seeing your cards featuring Easter or Spring.

I made an Easter card for Mollie Rose using various dies from my stash. I think she will like it!!

I thought the pannelled paper looked rather like a garden fence and then used an old Memory Box die for the grass for some additional colour.

Dare I say it but I really believe that spring is in the air. Our resident rabbits have come out of their burrows lately and have been "frollicking" on the lawn. I expect to see their family grow in four weeks or so!! We also have a pair of partridges that walk through the garden to the field at this time of year, not to mention the pheasants that are now showing their faces again, safe as the shooting season is now over. That perks the dogs up no end!!

Hope you will join in this time. See you soon xx

Gorgeous Greens

Hello friends and visitors!!

It's all about GREEN this time at

I went with a simple design to showcase the fabulous green MFT background paper.

The adorable little rabbit is from The Cat's Pajamas set Family forever and was coloured with Promarkers/Flexmarkers. It looks a little bit washed out actually, oh how I long for a decent light to take photographs!! I am beginning to wonder if the rain will ever stop!!

Well, that is all from me for now. See you later in the week xx

Hammock Days

My word, where did the last week go? It has been a bit hectic chez Wills with one thing or another but I am pleased to be here with my DT piece for

where it is always Anything Goes but your card MUST have a hand coloured image. Our sponsor this time is The Paper Shelter and  here is Hammock Days.

The companion paper is part of the set so I simply coloured the image, with Promarkers, fussy cut her and used foam pads to stick her on the scene.

Whatever you have planned for this weekend, I hope it is a good one'
