Peach and Grey

Well that week whooshed by didn't it!!? Friday once more and the weekend bringing the end of May. Lets hope that the start of a new month will bring us closer to catching up with our loved ones.

It is time, once more, for a new challenge at

I am sharing another pop up, slidey card today showcasing an image from our sponsor Polkadoodles.

I rather like the peach and grey colour combo, done with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I happened to have a length of perfectly matched ribbon so added a lovely shiny bow too.

Here is a view from above!!

Thank you for paying a visit. I do appreciate your lovely comments and making a return visit.

Dry weather seems to have taken a hold here in the UK at the moment so I expect it will be an outdoors kind of weekend for us. Whatever you are doing, wherever you are I hope it will be a good one for you. See you soon xx

A bone dry waterfall

Something amazing has happened this week...I have found time to share a card, just because I can!!
I needed a card for a lad's 15th Birthday and, as I so often do, took inspiration from Sam's Mixed Up Craft blog here. I don't own the particular stamp set that she used so just googled junk food images and went from there, colouring them with Promarkers.

Looks like I forgot to photograph the slice of pizza!! Actually the photography is pretty awful , looks mighty blue to me. Never mind you get the gist!!

I really enjoyed the process of putting this one together, it has been ages since I have made a waterfall card. Isn't it funny how card styles go out of fashion just like clothes do!!

See you tomorrow xx

Ribbons and Bows

Hello friends and welcome on this lovely Monday morning. Lovely because I should be at work but it is a Bank Holiday here in the UK  so that means a short week for me!! Hurrah!!

I have a little bit of Christmas to share with you today, it is my inspiration for the new challenge

An easy peasy theme this time Anything Cute with optional Ribbons and Bows.

Ha ha I have just realised that you can see my reflection in the mirror board...how funny!!

My base started with a Bright Rosa die set upon which I popped a sweet Heather Ellis digi, coloured with Promarkers. My nod to ribbon is the sweet seam binding bow.

That's all for now folks, I hope that you have more crafty time than I do at the moment and will join us with your Christmas cards.

See you later in the week xx

AYLI - Embellishment

Hello all. Hope this post finds you keeping well and sane whatever stage of lockdown you are at in your part of the world. Life has pretty much continued as normal for me working as I do in the local Surgery. Days have been quiet with very few patients setting foot in the building and I do wonder whether, once/if this pandemic is (ever) under control, if things will change back.

Anyway, less of the thoughful prose and on with business!!

We are all about Embellishments at As You Like It Challenge this time.

My "go to" embellishments are seam binding (of which I have many metres in many different colours) and enamel dots. Both of these add little bulk for posting and sit well on most styles and designs of cards.

Here is my make...

I love Cheeky Monkey, such a great stamped image to colour and although quite small, really packs a punch teamed with one of the accompanying sentiments.
I coloured the cheeky chimp with Promarkers and used some lovely stripes from MFT Sweet Stack backed with black cardstock. I put some glossy accents on his gnashers for extra shine..cheaper than veneers I should imagine!!

Before I leave you here are me and Wills on Sunday. To avoid any unnecessary accidents we have not ridden away from home since, Stay Home, so on Sunday we had a quiet pootle down our lane, boy it was good!! By the way, the weird body shape is not due to cake...it is my body protector!!

I hope you are all managing to find pleasures in your days.

Love to all and see you soon xx

Pretty in Pink Bunnita

It is all pink, pink and more pink at The Cutie Pie Challenge today. I had a lovely time colouring the cute little Bunnita Carrot Cake with my Promarkers.

She didn't need too much added but I made good use of my new LOTV sentiments...love these!!

Hope you will join us with your cute pink cards this time.

See you soon xx

Purple and one other!!

I was a lazy moo this time and have used a pre-coloured LOTV Simply Prints for my card today!!

It is my DT piece for the new challenge at

and boy did this theme have me scratching my head!!

Purple + one other colour.

I rarely use purple, it's just not "me" but I do love a splash of bright pink so I picked a shade that went with the pretty flowers and bingo...result!! Again, I wish I had made more than one but as the ingredients are still on my desk I might just put another together.

I hope you are all still doing OK.

I wonder what plans are afoot for us, here in the UK, not too long to wait now for the big reveal.

Enjoy the VE day celebrations tomorrow xx

Hedgie Birthday

Yay...another Friday has rolled around and I will resist the temptation to ask if you have anything nice planned for the weekend!! If you fancy a bit of crafting then we would love to see you at

We are an Anything Goes Challenge as long as your card is hand coloured in your medium of choice.

I did this...

using Birthday Hedgie from our Sponsor Bugaboo.

The lovely Jules has just added TEN lovely new Sketches to her library and I used #43...THANK YOU!! The papers were freebies from Making Cards Magazine and the sweet little hedgehog was coloured with Flexmarkers.

Thank you for your visits and kind comments, they are much appreciated.

Let's see what May brings!! See you soon xx
