Favourite Critter at AYLI

 I am the host at

and I have chosen the theme of Favourite Critter (and tell us why)

I have many, many favourites but my most favourite has to be Barry the bear from the, much missed, Stamp Fairy. He really is the most versatile bear, he gets up to all sorts of things and added to that he is lovely to colour!! I have chosen to showcase him in spook wear as it's October 31st!!

I made a slidey type card, you know the ones with the carrier bag mechanism inside. Well I had trouble finding a carrier bag as bags for life are the thing these days. I did locate one eventually, in the spare room, that was holding old Christmas baubles!! It's been sliced up now though and the baubles have been put elsewhere!! Barry was coloured with Promarkers and matted on some suitably halloween coloured card and I added some sequins to jazz him up a bit. BOO was die cut using a Crafters Companion alphabet.

I do hope that you will share your favourite critters with us.

See you at the weekend xx

Christmas Pinks with the Cuties

We are all pink and girly at

the theme is Pink Christmas

I made a sweet card using a digi from the long ceased Little Claire and some pink paper from a paper pad that came from The Range.

The little sentiment is from Clearly Besotted. Not too much colouring necessary on this one but plenty of festive sparkle though!!

That's another added to the Christmas card pile!!

See you soon xx

Anything Cute at Allsorts

Another Saturday and another new challenge at Allsorts.

The optional theme this time is CUTE.

That was no problem at all for me with my love of cuteness.

I still had some scraps left over from my Simple Stories pad that I used for my folio for last weeks' challenge so I used a piece as my inspiration. I printed a Digistamp Boutique image (I still miss that lovely range of images!!) that I coloured with Flexmarkers to match the stripey paper.

I framed the paper with a couple of scraps that, I think, really makes the striped paper "pop". Liquid pearls were perfect for the mistletoe berries and Stardust Stickles, as usual, for the snow.

I am looking forward to seeing your cute makes this week xx

Patterned papers at Allsorts

My name is Sarah and I have an unhealthy addiction to Patterned Papers!!

It's my turn to host so that's why the optional theme at Allsorts challenge this week is

Patterned Paper, it will also be lovely to see your Anything Goes projects too.

This year I've been dabbling in other kinds of papercrafts so for this challenge I made a folio to hold photographs. I found a lovely instruction sheet to accompany a You Tube tutorial by Karolinas Krafts and, using a WHOLE paper pad from Simple Stories, made this.

It's full of pockets, little tuck spots and hidden flaps. Such fun to make.

Three AALL and Create stamps

I hope you will support my theme and join in this week xx

AYLI - Ribbon & Twine

Hello and welcome. I have a folio to share with you today, it's to hopefully inspire you to join in with the new challenge at

where your choice this time is Ribbon or Twine (with your reason)

Since I have branched out into journalling and other papercrafting, my new favourite is twine.
I used it on this folio as fastenings.

This beautiful digital download is a freebie from Vectoria Designs You Tube channel. It was one of my first so I pretty much followed her tutorial.

Thank you for dropping in today. Your support is much appreciated xx

Pink & Pretty

It's Pink and Pretty over at

I made this...

I found this lovely A Day for Daisies image in my digi folder so coloured her to match the Anna Marie Designs Pink Bliss paper pad. I also used another of the pretty doilies that I discovered lurking a while ago and also used some paper roses too. Ooh and I have a new toy, a pair of tearing rulers that I bought from Indigo Blu. I used them for the layers. They are brilliant and I've had such fun using them in journals and the like.  The sentiment was a magazine freebie from long ago.

There you go, pink and pretty!! I look forward to seeing what you make xx

Magical, Myths & Legends

Ellie is in the driving seat at Allsorts this week and has chosen

Magical, Myths and Legends as the optional theme.

I have made a halloween card for Mollie using some gorgeous slime green glitter card, some luscious purple matt card and a super cute image from The Stamp Fairy (sadly no longer in production), called Wizard Tommy who I coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment came from a Woodware stamp set and fitted the magical themed card perfectly.

I glittered up the goo in the cauldron and the bubbles.

It's lovely to see you today and I hope you have a good weekend.

Falling Leaves

Hello everyone. Lynn has chosen the alternative to anything Goes theme at Allsorts this week

🍂Falling Leaves 🍂

My quest to use unloved stuff continues and this time I unearthed a Spellbinders die set and a Dutch Dubadoo cloud stencil.

I stencilled the linen effect card blank using tumbled glass DI. Used all the dies in the set and cut them out in good quality white card and then coloured them all with Promarkers. The Best Wishes stamp is from a Clearly Besotted sentiment set.

Out of my comfort zone but I really enjoyed making this.

2 prizes from AALL and Create of A5 stamp sets

Thank you for your company today xx

Square or Not?

 Chrissy is the host at

and her chosen theme is

Square or Not?

I am a square through and through. I LOVE symmetry so the square satisfies that need for order. In this case I have gone all out with the squares, using a lovely Papermania pad and many, many squares and a sequin or two to add a bit of shine.

I look forward to seeing what shaped card you favour and why.

While I am here I must apologise for the lack of visits to my crafting buddies this week. I have been struck down by the dreaded Covid and have been feeling really poorly. I promise that I will catch up with you all soon.

See you at the weekend xx
