Autumn

Hello lovely people, brrrr it's a bit chillier this morning, but the rain has stopped so that's a good thing. I've had a tentative go at something a little alien to me, stamping without colouring. I have seen such beautiful autumnal inky creations of late that I dragged out the old Big & Juicy ink pad and made this.

The stamp has a delicate self pattern too which you can see here

The stamp came from a Kanban set that I have had, for probably ten or more years, and never used (how shocking is that?). All I did was stamped twice without reinking and then stamped the outline stamp over the top of the lighter inpressions. I'm not sure if I like the finished result , probably because it is so far removed from what I usually do!!

Anyway off to play here

Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for sharing a bit of it with me!! xx

Bit chilly here as well this morning Sarah, me thinks the frosts won't be far away and the boys won't bee too keen to come out first thing.

Like the design of your card and warm autumnal colours.

Hope you have a good Sunday.

It's fun to use a NBUS! I really DO like what your results were. Did you use a stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the 2nd inking? It's really a wonderful look, and your card is lovely. Good for you at trying something new because you aced it! We had quite a cool morning, heat would have felt nice, but since we just turned off the air conditioning, I'm not quite ready for the heat. So hunted up some longer pants & shirt. Mid afternoon it's warmed up, at least we have gorgeous sunshine. TFS &Hugs.
