Ribbons & Bows

Hello everyone. So good to have you here on this lovely Monday morning!! Lovely because I am on Annual Leave this week...yay!! Not any firm plans as yet but Hubby is taking a few days at the end of the week so we will see what happens.

As this goes live though I will be sat in the Dentist chair having my annual check up. Not my favourite thing to be doing. I object to being asked  on every visit"do you floss and do you use an electric toothbrush?". I have been taking care of my teeth for 50 odd years thank you very much!! Rant over!! 🤪😀

Anyway, I digress, I am here to encourage you to come and join The Cutie Pie Challenge
where our theme is Ribbons and Bows, featuring a cute image of course.

I am still in LOTV mode. I loved colouring this little fella with my Promarkers, although I should probably have grounded him, he rather looks like he is floating!!. The papers are from a pad that came from The Range and my ribbon and bow take the form of seam binding.

That's all for today. I hope you have a good week, whatever is in store xx

Smiles at this Sarah but you missed out the nudge (usually a hard one) to see the hygienist, now I really do object to the repeated suggestion of spending £50 seeing her/him.

Pretty card and beautifully coloured image. Enjoy you week off and hope that if your weather is like our's it soon improves.

Hi Sarah,
what a very wonderful card and such a very cute Bear too.
You have coloured him perfectly as well.
Beautiful papers also.
I had to cancel my visit to the Dentist recently, but will be going again shortly just for the yearly check up though like you.
Enjoy your Annual Leave not nice weather though.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Very cute Sarah.
Hope the dentist went OK and there was nothing to be done, I had my check up 10 days ago. We had to go private when we moved as there were no NHS ones and a 2 hr trip back for an appointment was getting onerous but they do seem to be more into prevention than our old NHS dentist was.
Enjoy your week off. :)

This post made me smile as I'm just the same with the dentist. Last time she told me that were in good shape given my age. At fifty plus myself, I didn't know whether to kiss her or slap her! :) A very sweet card and I love the Ombre effect of your letters. Wishing you a very happy week off work Sarah x

We have the funniest Dentist here in Beccles in Suffolk! I have never laughed so much in a dentist's chair!! We happily go every 4 months for a clean. Your card is adorable and love LOTV bears. Pretty papers and colours. The gale force wind and heavy rain is just constant here in Suffolk. Summer!! Hugs Carol S.xx

Hi, Sarah! Such a beautiful card, and a darling little bear image. Beautifully done! I am especially drawn to your color choices and the way your words are shaded! It would be perfect at the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies challenge, too.

Awww what a cutie! The LOTV images are hard to beat, I'm gutted they've stopped making their rubber stamps. Hope you enjoyed your week off and got to do more fun stuff other than the dentist LOL.

Oh my, I LOVE this Sarah! That combo of green and pink is the exact shade and colour combo I used to have Georgie's bedroom decked out in when she was little. I utterly ADORE this stunning creation hun. That sweet image is gorgeous and the words look fab in the gradient of colour. Fabulous effect! The papers are GORGEOUS and that bow is perfectly tied. LOVE this to absolute bits! <3 (Hehe, expressions are so funny aren't they?!) Huge hugs hun and enjoy those holibobs whatever you decide to do! Wends xoxo
