Happy New Year and Thank You!!

Hello everyone and a great big

Happy New Year!!

I hope 2020 brings health, wealth and happiness to you all.

My card today is some inspiration for the new challenge at

We have made Thank You cards.

I have been busy with needle and aida since Boxing Day and made this...

it was a free pattern from the amazingly talented Durene Jones that I adapted to suit my own thread stash and time constraints!! The stitched panel is just short of four inches, so I made a whopping eight inch card with a small silver inner frame and a lavender pearl board embossed mat. Nothing more needed.

So, that is my crafty year started off nicely and I hope you will have time to join in.

See you soon xx

You could def frame that Sarah, well done, such pretty colours too.
Hope you had a great holiday, still under the weather and now have a partner in the coughing duet. My OH started a few days ago but bless him he keeps going, those sheep don't feed themselves! :)

A fabulous card to kick off 2020 Sarah. I once bought a tiny cross stich card to make for my Mum on Mother's Day and it took me forever to finish it. When she passed away, I brought it back home with me as I knew how much work I'd put into it and I just couldn't bare to part with it lol! Wishing you a very happy and colourful 2020. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Happy New Year Sarah! LOVE your cross stitch card, looks fab against your silver frame! I always used to love stitching until my eyesight got a bit worse and I struggled with finding the needle holes so it was no fun any more :(
