Red and Green

Hello all!! I am bringing a bit of christmas cheer today as it is new challenge time at

where the theme is RED and GREEN

I used Centura Pearl card and MFT plaid papers on the pop up card base, it's brilliant because although dimensional it slides absolutely flat for posting. Have a peep at Mixed Up Craft for a brilliant tutorial on how to do this and many others.

I coloured the sponsor image with my Promarkers and, although it is difficult to see, added various forms of glitters and pearl drops to snazzy her up a bit!!

I hope you are all keeping well as the lockdown continues and managing to find good in every day amid this horrid pandemic.

That is me for today, before I go let me share our morning walk with you.

Bowie leading the way down a leafy track that we call " Fairy Glen"

One of the footpaths we follow goes through this field. I am getting wet knees as the moment as the silage crop is getting quite high...nothing to do with my height of course!!

Bumble has various pit stops along the brook where he waits for a us to throw a stick.

We have always enjoyed our walks and consider ourselves to be fortunate enough to have them literally on our doorstep. They seem to be even more special at the moment and we are thankful to still be able to enjoy them.

Some challenges

gorgeous work Sarah....I am so intrigued by this shape, so I will be investigating this link! lovely to see these photo's too...do I spot Bluebells in the first photo? I've really missed not being able to go on a proper "bluebell walk" this year, but another thing to look forward to, even more so, next spring

I've never tried to make one of these pop up cards, may just have to try, now I've plenty of time on my hands!
I was only saying to the OH that our neighbours will be out silaging soon, the field next door is ready for his maize crop too. Harrowing on Saturday sent a dust cloud up of Saharan proportions, so the rain yesterday was very welcome!
keep safe. :)

A fabulous card Sarah, such a pretty image and great design.
Your walk looks lovely, Ramsey likes a good stick - or more often half a tree!

Such a sweet image and beautifully coloured Sarah. Brilliant design.
Sorry I haven't been blogging for a bit but couldn't sit at my desk. Been taking pills for the pain in my knees and after 10 days they feel a bit better as long as I don't stand for long. The joy of getting old!! Hugs, Carol S.xx
