Agnes and her balloon

Hello all. I hope that you have had a good week. I had my Covid booster on Tuesday and, once again, managed to escape with minimal side effects, a tender upper arm but nothing more. We have had rain and lots of it which (it pains me to say) has been a blessing. We relocated some paving slabs in the garden and laid some turf so have been let off watering it in!! Not so keen on the gusty wind that's come with the rain though!! The week hasn't quite gone as planned, our broadband disappeared early on, so a planned trip to Bournemouth on Wednesday was replaced by a visit from Open Reach to fix it, necessary for Connor to work from home.

How can it possibly be October already and heading towards the festive period. Anyway, nothing Christmassy to see here today, just a gorgeous new baby girl card.

It is my DT piece for

where it's always Anything Goes just as long as you hand colour your card.

My card was coloured using Spectrum Noir markers and just a snippet of MFT paper. Little Agnes from our sponsor Polkadoodles is just adorable.

Thank you for your continued visits and kind words.

See you soon xx

How sweet, perfect for a little baby girl!
I can sympathise with the Broadband dropping off, we've had similar problems. We think its something to do with the wet weather as it is always worse then. The BT guy was convinced it was somewhere in the house though. Touchwood it's been behaving better since his visit but it did drop off yesterday in the middle of the heavy rain! :)

Yes the weather had been awful and looks as if it's more of the same for the coming week here. Not a fan of the rain or the approaching winter but if it passes by as quickly as the earlier part of the year we will be in to Spring in no time - at least that's what I keep telling myself, lol.
A lovely, sweet image and pretty baby card Sarah, hope your week goes well.

Awwww, that is just so cute, Sarah! Love the image and your layout is right up my street - great clean lines.

Been raining here most of today, but it's only just today been dry before that.

Sarah

P.S. - To answer your question about the pencils, I didn't use blending solution this time, but I used to when I coloured with pencils many years ago. Honest truth - I forgot that's what I used to do!!

OMGoodness, how cute is this!!! What a wonderful assortment of cards you have made since last I came to visit. I just scrolled thru and wow, one is just more beautiful than the other. Things got a little crazy in my neck of the woods and I've had very little time for crafting. Thank goodness I normally work ahead, so I'm able to schedule posts for my DT's :-) Hopefully things will settle down again soon and I will be able to visit more often again.
Enjoy your weekend.
Big hugs,
Lena
