Favourite Food

We are feeling a little bit peckish at

where we would love you to share a project inspired by your favourite food.

I am a real fan of lemon, if it's on the menu with a piece of fish, in a sauce or in a dessert or cake then I am going to choose it!! I am even partial to it in a G&T...funny that!!
No better stamp to use than this lovely little mouse  from the Penny Black Homemade set.

I used this Mixed Up Craft tutorial for the impossible card base and, as it was little bit floppy without, added the connecting panels on the front and back for stability. I had used 300gsm card but I think the cutting and folding just weakened the base a little. The image was coloured with my Promarkers and I bravely cut into a piece of Maja Design paper to decorate the base. I bought the Daisy Mae arch die set a while back and, I think, this is the first airing. They are a really great size so I think will probably make a rather nice card base at Christmas.

I hope I have given you some inspiration to join us and once again thank you for continuing to visit and leave such encouraging comments. In a world where it's easier to "like" I much appreciate your time. Oh yes, on the theme of commenting hasn't blogger been a devil of late?! Darnell has shared a "how to" if you are struggling. I have done a bit of housekeeping and hope that my comments are now reaching you all!!

Take Care xx

So cute Sarah and a great design. I've also noticed that some comments weren't being published and have had to go and tick them as 'not spam', it's so annoying x

Aww this is too cute! Love the card shape! Yep I'm a lemon fan too, that's why I was so glad that the trifle won the Jubilee Pudding title. Not too sure I'll try and make it though! xx

I'm with you on a love of lemony things, Sarah, but I'll have a wodka martini, please, with a nice lemon peel twist. (What time should I be there?!) Your impossible card is named correctly! It is adorable, but I look at the creation of it and shudder. It looks too much like there might be math involved! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

What a fun design, Sarah and I love that cute image which you have coloured beautifully as always. I love lemon too - the tartier the better! Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the arch dies - I have been looking for some and will go and explore.
Have a gorgeous weekend.

First, your card is darling and so perfect for your favorite. I just love the little mousie and lemon too. 2nd, my Meyer lemon tree has 9 lemons on it! It has been struggling the past couple of years so it doesn't sound like much, but I am thrilled. 3rd, thanks for the direct to Darnell, I have been SO FRUSTRATED with commenting lately. I will be heading over to see what she has to suggest. Thanks!
