Blond or Brunette?

We love making you think out of the box at

and this challenge is no exception. We would LOVE to know whether you favour
 blonde or brunette?

I have never been overly confident with colouring hair and gave up trying to get any realistic effect a long time ago.

I am brunette through and through, well at least, I used to be!! I had gloriously dark glossy hair until I was about 35 when the grey/white started to appear. I coloured it until I was 50 and have let Mother Nature do her "thing" ever since. I am now blessed with a rather nicely even salt and pepper crown.

My lovely little (antique c2012!!) Whimsy rubber stamp was coloured with Promarkers and her hair has a touch of pencil too for definition. Such pretty patterned papers called for a simple design and just a few pretties to finish off.

Thank you for your good wishes following my fall. My bottom is s..l..o..w..l..y recovering and thankfully my wonderful Hubby and a friend are keeping Wills ticking over for me. I don't think I am going to be back in the saddle just yet. The whole episode has made me realise that I am getting old!!

Thank you for your visit and I hope you will share your marvellous hair colouring with the Team.

Bye for now xx

Super card Sarah, I agree with those lovely DPs nothing else is required. Glad to hear you are on the mend, getting old as my friend said on Tuesday is ***t.
I'm with you on the hair colouring but I have to side with the blondes! Even though my hairdresser is a colour specialist she always remarks that ladies of a certain age should just let be! So from bright blonde I'm now what they might call ash!! :)

I really do feel for you after the fall Sarah, going back a few years I had a couple in quick succession, when the doctor at A&E greeted me with "hello again" the second word made me think long and hard. But I still enjoy the close bond with our boys even though I couldn't even get into the saddle now, let alone stay upright.

Loving the look of todays card.

I pleased to hear that you are on the mend, I'm sure you will soon get your confidence back.

I think you've done a great job with colouring the hair Sarah. I'm blonde with quite a lot of natural white highlights now. I still colour mine but the white shows through very quickly. I'll be happy enough when it's all white, I just don't like having lots of different shades in it. Take care and stay happy x

Aww, I love this older Whimsy image, Elisabeth Bell is still a favourite artist of mine. Beautiful card design and gorgeous paper combo. LOVE this hun. Cute reading your journey from Glorious Brunette to Stylish Salt & Pepper. I'm trying to work out whether to keep colouring my hair at the moment or let it grey naturally. I'm torn! Hugs, Wends xoxo
