Favourite Domestic Animal

Phew...the heatwave is finally over, here in sunny Dorset, and we've even had some much needed  rain that will hopefully perk up the grass a bit.

Today's post is to share some inspiration for our new challenge at

where we would like to see your favourite domestic animal.

A tough choice for me but having had dogs in our family since I was on maternity leave awaiting Declan's arrival 33 years ago, so I have chosen dogs. There's nothing quite like their loyalty and they are the best comfort when you are feeling below par.

I chose a pooch from a Whimsy stamp set and coloured him with my Promarkers. The spotty green mat went really well with the bottle green card base and it also quenched my thirst to see some green as the lawn has been brown for so long!!

I'll leave you with a snap of my lovely boys, Bowie and Bumble.

Looking forward to seeing your makes.

See you soon xx

It was SO good to get some rain at last, but it wasn't as much as the forecast though. Our large pond is so low that the ducks can stand up in it!
Your cute pooch looks great with his paws resting on the sentiment panel. :)

A gorgeous card, love the cute image.
I love dogs although I've never owned one as I an allergic to them but yes they are the most loyal and loving companions - Bowie and Bumble are gorgeous.

Hi Sarah,
I knew it would be the dogs or your horse.
Yes you are right a dog is a real great companion when you are feeling a bit down.
I have had a few dogs over the years and remember them well.
Too old and not in good health to have one myself now, but I do like seeing my Son's and Granddaughter's dogs when I visit them.
On to your wonderful card it's a fabulous design and so cheerful in that lovely colour.
Your dog die cut is so sweet as well.
Bowie and Bunble looking great.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

A super card Sarah, a cute image and fabulous photo of your dogs.
We only had a little bit rain here on one day so it's still very dry!

Aww, sweet Bowie and Bumble, lovely pic of them. Gorgeous card Sarah, must have been a tough choice with your lovely animals, but a good one. Hope you've had a little rain by now and the lawns had a good drink after your long hot Summer. Hugs, Wends xoxo
