I saw Mummy kissing Santa Claus!

Happy Monday everyone and I hope the new week finds you well.

I had an enjoyable weeks' holiday last week. Walking, riding and eating!

Autumn feels are in the air now and it's less than three months until Christmas so I hope you will join us this month at

We are Anything Goes now but give an optional theme which, this time, is Father Christmas.

I think I've mentioned before that I am a little bit "funny" about Father Christmas stamps and find some of them a little bit sinister! This Tomte-ish one is the only Father Christmas like rubber stamp I have in my collection. It's from Gummiapan and is suitably cute and was coloured with my Promarkers. The heat embossed background is a lovely WOW stamp. I actually made four of this design using different coloured embossing powders, gold, silver, copper and a lovely brown shade.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will find time to join us with your cute Christmas cards.

See you soon x

I now just what you mean about some Santa images Sarah. I love that textural background you created for this one and this Santa looks pretty harmless to me.

Love the stamped embossing Sarah, might have to investigate WOW. I agree with you about some of the Santa stamps out there, but this is def cute! More rain forecast so hopefully the pond levels will rise and the sheep can finally be allowed back into the big pond field soon. :)

A very festive Christmas CAS card, Sarah. I'm the opposite - I love, love stamps with Father Christmas ... and dies, OMGoodness I have more than my fair share :-) But I do understand about some of them looking a little odd and a bit sinister. Those don't make it into my "Santa" stash :-) Love your embossed background. I'm sure the other backgrounds came out amazingly beautiful too.
I'm glad you had a nice holiday - sounds like walking, riding and eating were the perfect activities for an enjoyable time :-)
Big hugs,
Lena

Glad to hear you've had a good week.
Absolutely with you, on the matter of Santa stamps - me, being me, I love the cute looking ones, but I remember there being a particular Santa stamp that was hugely popular, a few years ago, but I couldn't see the appeal.
Anyway, your card is another beaut. The embossed section looks amazing

I agree about some Santa images looking rather scary for children (and adults!) This is such a cute one though and looks fabulous against your gold embossed background.

Lovely 'arty' card, Sarah, love the embossing! Yes I have a problem with some of the more Hannibal Lecter type Santa's too! 😱

Oh that is a great card design for a batch make! LOVE the background, sounds like it would be lovely in all the shades. Fab image, I've had my eye on this Gummiapan stamp a while, just not easy to get over here in NZ. I splashed out a while back on some dies, the 'old paper' edge ones which I just love, must put that on my wishlist now! Looks fabulous hun. Hugs, Wends xoxo (I'm like that about clowns by the way)
