A patchwork dog this time!!

Morning all and Happy Good Friday to you.

I have been dabbling with the sewing machine of late and so I have a bit of patchwork to share with you today. The pattern was in a C&C magazine and looked fairly simple and here's the result...

First of all having a mooch about the garden!!

having a rest on the bench after Suzy gave him the run around!!

It's nice having two dogs again!! I don't miss Mog every day now, but certain activities remind me that he's not here. Mowing the lawn for the first time was heartbreaking as he used to painstakingly follow me up and down, up and down for the whole hour it takes to mow our lawn.

One way......

...then the other!!
Suzy on the other hand will attack the mower once or twice and then lie down!!

I am taking my scottie to play here...

Love your patchwork doggie, and I had to smile looking at your photos of your 'helper' doing the lawn. It's so sad when they're gone, but they share so much when they're here.
Have a lovely Easter Sarah

Happy Easter Sarah - I just loooove your patchwork Scotty dog! Now that I've retired I've got big plans to do all these crafty things and patchwork is one of them - thing is I've probably got more plans than time lol. What a beautiful setting your garden is - glad it's not my job to cut that lawn - my hubby has the job of our lawns and I'm quite happy for him to do it - have a lovely weekend hugs Judith xx

your puppy pillow is sweet as can be! Love those colors and the buttons. Your lawn is beautifully green. It is sad as our pets age, isn't it. Wonderful crafty creation, Sarah! hugs, de {Creative Smiles}

Love your little patchwork Scottie dog, Sarah...very clever of you, and I love the fabric colours. (I couldn't sew a teatowel to save my life!).

Dear old Mog...I love the picture of him on your sidebar...he looks so sweet, and that is so cute the way he followed you when you were mowing. I know what you mean about being heartbroken the first time you mowed the lawn after his passing...it's the 'little things', isn't it that can set us off. It is almost 2 months since we lost dear Pally, but it seems like yesterday, and there are so many 'little things' that we still miss about him.

Hugs,
Jennifer. x

Wow great sewing Sarah. Its a really cute pooch. I love your photos and of course you still miss mog. I still miss Toby my cat who died in 2008, our pets are a big part of our lives but at least we can take comfort in that they had good lives with us. ((Hugs)). Michelle x
