Easter or Spring

Hello everyone, happy new week!!

We are all leaping about like spring lambs over at The Cutie Pies Challenge where our new theme is

Bunnies and Blooms

We would love to see your Spring or Easter cards featuring a cute image.

I dug out a very old Stampendous set and made this...

The little strip of paper is a snippet from my scrap box and I coloured the image and chose a mat in the same colour. The fun sentiment is part of the set too.

The daffodils in the picture were blown down in high winds so I rescued them and they are currently looking very pretty on my kitchen table. We put in lots of different daffodil bulbs the autumn before last, so are enjoying a second show of really different blooms from the later varieties. Goodness knows with all the atrocities going on in the East that we should grab joy where we can and these pretties certainly do that.

See you soon xx

What a fun image Sarah. The wind has reeked havoc with our daffs, mind you so have the rabbits and the ewes and lambs. Normally the paddock behind the house is not used for grazing but as the lambing came early we are a bit short of grass so it was pressed into service along with sacrificing my daffs! :)

They look like double Daffs Sarah, beautiful, as is your card, a perfect Easter creation.

Interested reading about your Buzzards, we had a par of Honey Buzzards move in 3/4 years ago and have watched them rear young and now the young doing the same. Amazes us how noisy they can be, especially when the Crows try to see them off and they get protective of the young.

My latest Nature venture is several Squirrel feeders on a few of the trees as I'm trying to lure the pair of black ones down from the top paddock and closer to the house. But so far the prevalent Grey's don't let them get close.

At least it gives them a safe haven from the neighbouring farmer who shoots them, he's got serious attitude with anything that moves including humans!
